Yes, I know Wordpress explains it on their site but it's still confusing...and I see that you now have a Wordpress blog set up yourself, could you put together a video showing us the basic idea of how one takes a simple static page and turns that basic look into a custom theme? I've only seen one of your videos so far - on SEO Google ranking - but it explains and demonstrates it in such a way that I actually understood the concepts!
I get the general idea that you copy the header code from your static page and overwrite it to your custom WP header page in your custom template, etc. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate a "custom template lesson for dummies" from the master.
Even if we use an existing template from the ones that are offered, we should understand the basic concepts of how to change or tweak them slightly.
