Content network

Postby DOUBLK on Sun Sep 09, 2007 11:36 am

Does anyone know how you can just have your ads show on the content network and not the searcg network? Also if all my keywords are inactive say for search will my ad still run on appropiate sites on the content network? I am having a little trouble getting clicks maybe 3 a day and most end up coming from search. Does anyone use site-related when rumming there ads. Meaning you pick which site you want the ad to show up on?? Thanks guys if anyone can hewlp out.

Hi Krista,

If you are wanting to use Google Adwords and to show only the google adverts of your campaign on the content network only. Login to Google Adwords Account, and find your campaign you made. Tick the box beside it and click the button in your adwords account that says "Edit Settings".

To your right, you will see a sub heading called: Networks

It's here you can change the google adwords campaigns to only show on the content networks rather than google adwords search network. Tick or Untick the relevant boxes and save. ;)

Re: if all of your keywords for your google adwords campaign keywords are inactive and if they will show on other peoples google adsense sites, sure, only if the campaign is active, if the google adwords campaign isn't active then regardless what the settings are they will not show up anywhere, moreover, if the bids are too high and some of them are inactive while others are active within your google adwords campaigns, then only the ones that are active will appear on the content network.

If you are having problems getting clicks within your google adwords campaigns, I would take a deeper look at what it is you are doing.
I could help you out a little more if you show me the title of the google adwords campaign you are using and the first and second line of the google adwords campaign, and lastly what URL you are using. Then I can show you some ways to get more clicks. :)

in regards do you have control over which sites that your ads are shown on from your google adwords campaigns, from what I am aware, unless someone can correct me, you don't, however you do have control over which state and country you wish to have these google adword campaign adverts to appear.

Hi ya,

You shouldn't drive traffic to your adsense pages with adwords, it's against the TOS.

Yup, took a look at your site, sent you a IM about it. Didn't you get it?
