Question about Blog Comment Posting

Postby Koolsteve » Fri Oct 03, 2008 6:32 am

Seems today has turned out to be a Forum Posting day for me. Didn't plan it - just made one post early this morning and haven't stopped posting since.

Anyway, to the subject of this post.
I do like Blog Comment Posting. I use Comment Kahuna which is a neat little program for searching out theme related posts.
Now, I do have a small problem. I can comment all day on SEO and Arsenal FC, the best soccer club in the UK. What I do find difficult is posting on behalf of clients on their subjects. For instance "landscape gardening". Yeh, I can mow a lawn, get rid of weeks and even identify a few plants, but that's as far as my knowledge goes. So trying to post comments on this subject is futile.

Right, so ok, the best back links from this method are from theme related blog posts. But how does it compute if I give useful comments on say a blog post on Arsenal FC but use the clients keywords and url for a link back. Right, it becomes a non-theme, lower quality back link - but even so, it still is a back link.

Would you say, forget it Koolsteve and don't use this method of back link building or would you say, yes Koolsteve, because you like Blog Comment Posting so much, use it as part of the seo back linking campaign?

Regards,
Koolsteve 8-)
