After spending almost 2 days setting up this software to run and sending out my first test article, APR crashed and I am unable to find out which article sites were actually submitted to so that I can start from where it left off.

Any suggestions on this?

One thing I think is important to note for anyone who is going to use this program: Pay attention to creating Pen Names. Many directories require them and if you login to each directory to check, click on the "submit articles" link and not "member login". Member login will not bring up the Pen Name screen a lot of the time.

I now have to login again (to 400 sites)...argh.

Just noticed also that if the software does fail, make sure you go back in and load up all your author, title, summary files before restarting. If not, your article titles will not make sense and be some strange default value. I sure hope the developers are improving this software.

I did mention in the vids to create a pen name.

Not sure, never had APR crash on me. There is a log file there, did you check that?

I'd contact David about it, he'll know more about what to do.

Yes, I knew about the pen names just didn't realize there was a specific way to make sure you had to enter one. Oh well, live and learn. Hopefully they will have a Pen Name auto-fill in a future version.

Log file is not created when it crashes unfortunately.

I just guessed and restarted. It got through the remainder but some didn't take (timed out). I assume this is from not having a Pen Name. I guess I can just go back and note those one's in the log and resend them.

APR is not like that.

You have to go to each article directory and sign up then, then create a pen name. Once you have entered your email address and and password into APR, it fills it in automatically and posts under the "main" pen name of that article directory.

Gotcha. I actually did log into all the sites but not all require pen names. I was just mentioning that the screen that asks you to enter a pen name only comes up if you click "submit articles" on most of those sites. There is also sometimes an "add pen name" link (guess I was too blind to see it first time around).
