More Filtering To Be Done.

Postby Loz » Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:54 pm

Ok guys, just a little update.

One of the hardest things to accomplish is to filter out any potential bad trades to get to the point of developing a trading robot to never make a loss.

The longer we are testing this, the more we find areas in the market that can cause a loss.

I've been contemplating to have a very tight stop loss of say 25 pips, and allowing this to be hit in favor of large pip gains that will counter those small losses.

Then I had an idea cos I was almost out of suggestions to work out a solution. My Programmer and I oddly enough have just thought about this a few moments ago as we put our heads together.

We found a solution, and I hope this will be the final version of these modifications to see the first robot to never make a loss.

So hopefully within the next week or two, we'll have a working version.

Beta launch wont be far away, programmer has almost finished with the back end side of things.

So stay tuned :)

Great news loz.

Is there a list of beta testers somewhere, or will we be notified if we're apart of the beta program?

Great news!

Which versions of windows does it support? I keep running into problems with my Vista 64 bit system...

Also what kind of feedback will you be wanting from us beta folks?

All the best

Hi ya,

Peeps will be notified when the back end of the site is ready, shouldn't be much longer now. :)

MT4 platform is ok for 32 and 64 bit.

Feedback, I'll get to that when we're near ready, too early to say right now. :)

If you're having probs with your 64bit, remove SP1 & 2, reinstall windows over the top of your current version so your installed programs remain in tact, then reinstall SP1 & 2. :)

I actually wouldn't mind testing this on a small real money account. Might get a lot more accurate results as opposed to a demo account.

I've been trying on both demo and live, results are EXACTLY the same!

Our backend is almost done, we tested the remote signal service mid friday, so far so good, but i need to test a bit more before i call peeps to test this out on their machines.

I know I said this monday we'll be ready, but I want to be absolutely sure I've squashed all the bugs first before taking on beta testers, so give us a bit longer, and we should be set to go. :)
