ranked 6th out of 1.9mil results, not bad from one back link. :D
BTW, Digging your pages gets your site indexed in less than 3 hours. :) took 1 hour and 28 minutes for my page to get indexed after adding it to digg.com :)

Dang, just found out that I'm ranked 2nd for Optimization history. 2.09 milion results.... sweet...
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=optimization+history&btnG=Google+Search

Bad thing is though, although the many readers I have had, 1 person thought it was interesting/ helpful. Thanks Krista for your Vote.;)

Shame, it's quite obvious, well, at least to me, I'm a statistician as much as Jon Leger. But dang, there's either a lot of lazy people out there who can't spend 3 minutes to show their appreciation to at least give me a VOTE/DIGG, or they just didn't find the info useful..hmm...

I guess people don't know me that well. Like I say, I like helping people, but, sometimes motivation always helps, know what I mean, scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

Show me the love, give us the vote. :)

SEO Revolution <---- click here, vote on the articles, I've got more under this bonet, stuff that even the guru's don't tell you about. ;)

Dang, me even on the first page for SEO Revolution too. :) How cool is that for a 5 day old page. SEO Revolution, my blog and my forum here is there too, no where to be seen a few days ago, I wonder how that happen. ;) I guess only the SEO Revolution will reveal when more diggs are seen. wink wink. ;)

Hi Loz,

It's a little hard to explain but I think the website RottenTomatoes.com is a good example
of what I'm thinking of.

They use pictures and video from the movie industry, and I think they fall under the same
umbrella of copyright laws that protect the tabloids and allow their content to be published
in the manner that it is.

These two publications take it to the extreme...

"Could you create something like this - what do you think?"

Hi Loz,

Here's another topic for you, it's something else that me and my SEO analyst have disagreed over. The arguement centres over the use of keywords in anchor text.

I prefer to use a single keyword/phrase in an anchor text, whereas she likes to use multiple phrases, so that it targets multiple keywords. My argument is that it loses weight the longer the anchor text.

So, an article on the correct way to format the anchor text.

Also, what about a review and comparison on the two 'heavy weight' seo ebooks on the market - SEO Book by Aaron Wall (although I think he's discontinuing it) and Brad Callens new SEO ebook.

Well, that all depends Peter,

What is the purpose of having one phrase linked up, are you just targeting the one phrase?
Link density is important, but if you over do it with the same anchor text it can hurt you - it may give one results for a little while but they wont be sustained, having various anchor keyword text is ok.
A Old video Brad Callen made was talking about how he did the seo, and came across one site that had loads of keywords stuff on one page that were all linked up to his own pages, in the video the guy was ranked on the first page, when I came to checking the same site, it wasn't anywhere to be found until I came to page 4.

Any ways, for instance, "internet marketing business" will act as "internet marketing", "internet business", "business marketing", "marketing business", or as "internet", "marketing", "business".
You can control the link density by adding more phrases. But ya really need to add a title attribute to the anchor text to give it more weight.

I don't think I could write a long enough article on that mate, since it's pretty easy to explain in a couple of sentences.

most of what brad talks about in his seo book is in mine and I released mine before he did. His is just better written since my English sucks and mines somewhat more condensed.

Although I can't stand Aaron Wall and his morals, both his and Brad's seo book is alright, one can learn a lot from both of those books if they don't know anything about seo.
personally I learned nothing new in Aaron's book since I was on Brad's seo newsletter couple years back, and since reading Brads ebook, I was quite disappointed as I learned nothing new there and I was hoping to come across some more tricks of the trade.
